I purchased a dash cam from DinoDirect online on the 10th December 2016 USD$43.98 and they failed to send it. I gave it two months as the shipping from China can take two months. The beginning of March I opened up a case on their website and on 2nd March 2017 I they emailed the following. "Thanks for contacting us, The product you ordered is in high demand and we are also waiting for the supplier to send stock to us. Will you pls kindly wait a few more days? Appreciate your understanding." . On April 4th 2017 I managed to get through to them on online chat (They no longer answer chat). I was told that the refund would take around 10-20 business days. In the last two weeks I have sent messages to their online case system and emailed them and have not received a reply.

When I placed my order, they charged it to my Paypal account within 24 hours of placing the order. After waiting for 40 days, I followed up with them to see why my item hadn't shipped. They kept asking me to wait a few more days. After waiting for an additional 6 days, I demanded my money back and to cancel the order. They said all they can do in the short term was to credit my account with "dino dollars". I had no intentions of ever using that site again. I said I wanted a full refund back to Paypal. The person "helping" me said she couldn't do that. It would take a minimum of 10 business days for a full refund. After reading reviews from other people who agreed to that option and never got their money, I decided to dispute the charge with Paypal. I got an email 2 days later from Dinodirect that they wouldn't fight the charge back. They also didn't consent to the dispute either. So I had to wait a full 10 days for Paypal to resolve the matter. I got my money back, but it took a long time. Dino direct is quick to charge you, but they'll fight you every step of the way to get your money back.

Unusable scanner

had a hard time programming my new scanner[diagon 3].when i finally got it up and running it worked fine for 6 uses. the blue tooth did not want to communicate with the scanner. I used the cable the next few times. that was the last time i could use this great scanner. I COULD GO ON U TUBE OR FACE BOOK!! but i think we can come to a better result.I was able to email you customer dept,and soon lost contact. Please tell me what my next move is......It has been about 2 years that i have been trying to get this scanner working. i had to buy another less expensive unit since. rudy

I buy from dinodirect more than two years. More than twenty orders. I'm happy with registration of shop, detailed descriptions, a convenient payment system through PayPal. The prices are cheaper than in the majority of other shops. Sometimes there are delays with sending goods. Delivery usually takes a month if I choose free shipping. Good help in reduction of price of goods is points, coupons and shares, and also regular sales. In this order I have purchased a bag and a backpack. Price relation and qualities excellent. Very good and convenient things. When bought without number of tracking, number was also given, but it was traced only when the package arrives in Russia. With shop it is very happy and I recommend.

I ordered a PS3 controller. Immediately after payment I tried to cancel my order because I no longer wanted it I had found a much better deal. I emailed their customer service line and never got a response. The next day, I received an email stating my item was shipped. I later then contacted them by opening a case and they never got back. Then i chatted with them on Live Chat and was told to wait a day until they could contact the parcel carrier because someone was out or something. During this chat it took at least 3 minutes of time to get each response. The customer service is so terrible, and I barely could understand what the technical support person had typed. Please save your money and do not buy from them!

Good quality and affordable price.True to size and is a little bit stretchy. Yeah, just a little bit. OK. I searched on google and gg direct me to this website.As the first time to come to this site. I found the prices are low and finally knew it's a HK based company. Then I bought my first smart watch on dinodirect,in my Order:SD231T13-DD. The package shipped a bit later but finally i received in time. It builds in android system. Works well as now. The prices are cheap as well.Then I did more purchase on this site and have been happy with every purchase. Unlike other sites, it sells quality products, not cheap stuff that breaks after a while.I will keep on buying in this company.

Horrible website! Was supposed to receive my order before Christmas. Game controllers for my sons. Only when I made a complaint to paypal they finally sent my order. But was over a month later. Got the ps3 controllers and only one was sony the other 4 were off brand. Well at least they work and my kids are not asking everyday where they are. I will never buy from them again! Oh and they came in a bag not a box!

On 9th Otober I ordered (No 692P0311672-DD) extension tubes for macro photography at a total cost of USD 68.37 from Dinodirect a hongkong based online company and paid with my Citibank Mastercard When the goods arrived I found that though it was claimed that it works with autofocus zoom lenses, it would not work. Even with prime lenses it would not work. Fitting the extender tube to lens was also difficult and risked breaking the lens In short a lousy product. When i complained, they first wanted a photo graph. I sent this. Then they wanted a video. I sent this. Then they send me a link to a forum, in which lots of customers had complained and yielded no useful info. When I insisted on replacement they have offered me USD 10 gift voucher to be used against future purchase Beginning of the year I bought a smart watch which cost around 50 USD. It conked out after 3 weeks. I complained and the same procedure was followed. Photo wanted, then video wanted etc. What for ? to prove a product had conked out? In the end they offered me a vouched for usd 10 also As can be seen this company specializes in shoddy goods. They do not replace of give refunds. I wish to make potential customers aware. I can provide email trail with their customer service etc Regards A.George

I ordered an external harddrive from DinoDirect. I was not sure about the items discription so I started a live chat and "Coco" comfirmed that it is indeed an external harddrive that can store date. I received my "external" today and it is just a port for a USB. I paid R400 for this with the shipping. A port like this in South Africa wil cost me R11. I spent 3 hours with them on a live chat and send through a email. They confirmed that they will email me with an answer. A answer to what? That your staff are incompetent and now I have to pay?

I was out of country so had no chance to update sooner. I decided to go with the gift card they offered me in value 110 USD and order it again hoping i get the correct one. Will see and let you know.

Latest info is that they offered me 110 USD voucher for "inconvenience". Ive asked them (i really want that game console), that if i accept the voucher and reorder it (its still listed on Dinos website with all correct parameters), that i get correct device.

The thing is, ive contacted manufacturer who explained me that there are 2 versions of this device (this is nowhere mentioned at Dinos website) Deluxe Edition (the one ive ordered with all features) and Basic Edition (without HDMI and capacitive 5 point display) which ive received.

So somebody at Dinos ordered the devices and thought JXD is JXD so no need to check further and me as customer has to cleanup this mess. Will post conclusion hopefully soon.

During latest emailing, i got offer from Dino Direct that they want to send me new device or i can accept in same prices voucher. I think this is professional and very customer friendly step. Will see how this ends.

Ive ordered JXD S5100 game tablet (device) for my son on 20th november 2012. I received package begin January 2013. After opening and examining device, i figured there is no HDMI connector, but blind spot instead of it. After 2 hours of recharging the device, i turned it on and figured there is not capatitive display. Display doesnt react on touch. No finger, no nail, no stylus pen, nothing. Ive contacted DinoDirect 24/7 customer service and started to chat with person named Otta. Ive sent several emails with detailed pictures and Otta forwarded this issue to somebody else. That person (signed with "DinoDirect Support Team") recommended me local electronic store to fix this issue (how can be fake display fixed) and proposed 30 USD voucher for their online shop at DinoDirect which really is out of question since there is not local electronic store in my country (i doubt that its in EU at all) who can fix this. Im very pissed since im really starting to believe i was cheated and i already contacted directly www.jxd.hk and informed them that DinoDirect sents fake devices under JXDs brand. In between Christmas is gone and my son didnt get his present.

I have ordered 3 items: 1 jacket, 1 belt and 1 pair of shoes. Al 3 items have been shipped with the wrong size. The difference is such that it cannot be a mistake: chest size measures 8 CM less than the sizing chart for the jacket, Belt has 105 CM size instead of 125 CM and shoes measure 2 CM less than the sizing chart. I think their business model is based on forced sales shipping wrong items whatever they do not care as they know that return cost will be prohibitive that customer will not pay as additional cost. Worst, the remaining refundable amount becomes so small that do not make any sense to send it back as they will not refund the initial shipping cost. Their customer service offered me 100 $US as refund on 230 $US order and ask me to resell it or offer it as a gift to somebody (well done); here is the real scenario of their business model as the difference between the refund and the order is the real value of the goods; they are making money and comfortable benefit with a simple strategy: customer is done and can do nothing against them. Send him whatever you want; Dinodirect will get the expected benefits. I would recommend strongly to evaluate your risk before placing any order and you have to accept that 90% of the cases you will lose your money. Run from Dinodirect; it is an organized scam.

I never received my purchase. They said it would take a long time, but after that had passed they wouldn't give me a refund. They just take your money and don't care if you get what you paid for.
