Made an order on Dino Direct for a bag on 1st Dec. still not recd.

I order two bag on 1st Dec. 2012, after I ordered it, i was told one of the bags was not available, they gave me a gift card so i could exchange for something else. I ordered jewelry which came in diff. lots, and of course, as usual, nothing like what it looks like online. The bag never came, it is now four months, they said they would resend, and asked extra for insurance, which i refused, so no tracking.Am still waiting, with no hope at all. Thousand of chats have been exchanged, really it is so frustrating to be scammed.

Dino Direct Horrible Service

Dino Direct offered a great price for an Adroid tablet. Compliants: 1). item not as advertised 2). device malfunctioned within 35 days of purchase 3). Contacted after receiving item that didn't fit description (promised solution from Dino, not handled) 4). I paid the prepaid return package fee w/initial order (Dino will not honor, states price of shipping to high 5). took picture and video as requested, chatted, emailed, etc, to date no resolution, my son's birtday present ruined. Dino Direct has the poor customer service & they do not honor their sales. Worse experience I have ever had

Dino Direct refuse to replace defective tablet!

Android tablet was ordered 22/11/12 as a Christmas present for my daughter. She used it for about an hour on Christmas day and then the tablet would no longer switch on. We left for a holiday that afternoon and sent a request to Dino Direct to replace the tablet on 12/01/12, the day we returned. I lodged an RMA request as advised on their website. It promised to be resolved within a week. 3 weeks later and no resolution was reached. On 2/02/12 I lodged a complaint via their Feedback option. Between 2/02/12 and 14/02/12 numerous emails were exchanged and they agreed to replace the tablet if I returned it. The tablet was sent back on 16/02/12. Dino Direct received the tablet on 6/03/12 however they continued to tell me that they had not received it up until 11/4/12, over a month later! on 11/4/12 they sent me an email informing me that they would like to send me a replacement tablet. 2 days later on 13/4/12 they sent me an email saying that as the order was over 3 months old they could not replace the tablet but would let me choose another item to the value of $180. It had only taken more than 3 months because they had kept stuffing me around! I spent two and a half hours on their live chat talking to Emily today (17/04/12) asking them to honour their email and replace the defective tablet. They continue to refuse because I had purchased the tablet at a discounted price and now it was worth more than what I originally purchased it for! The fact that the price has increased is irrelevant. The fact is that it is defective and should be replaced! Emily would not allow me to speak to her manager or anyone else even though I asked to repeatedly. She agreed let me choose a different tablet worth US$200 or less to replace the tablet with, but all tablets on their site at that price are far inferior to the original tablet ordered. The only tablet that came even slightly close was valued at $234 and Emily would not agree to that! I am out of pocket now by $241 and my daughter still has not had her defective Christmas present replaced. I am disgusted! They are no better than thieves! All I ask for is that the defective tablet be replaced with a tablet that is at least nearly as good as the original defective tablet!

"She used it for about an hour on Christmas day and then the tablet would no longer switch on."

It is not Christmas until the 25th of December, I think you are a liar. Also, the problem you are having is not a defective tablet, it is *** user error.

Leave the tabled off charge for 2 days so that the batteries drain, then charge again and it will work properly.

This is a safety feature to stop the lipo batteries from exploding in your lap and mutilating your genitals.

Faye Fxz

Copy of my latest email to these crooks:YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! You have wasted my time for the last 5 months!

You have cost me a fortune! I have spent over 10 hours over the last 5 months just trying to get you to replace a defective tablet. I usually charge my clients $220 per hour. This means you have cost my business $2200 because of your ridiculously poor customer service!

Your website says that the iDinor’s price is $199.49 on item A300****PI. This means it is $6.49 more than the price I paid. All I have had so far for my $193 is hours of frustration trying to deal with your company! The very LEAST you should do is provide me with the tablet I request as a replacement to the defective tablet that you originally supplied. You had the chance to replace the defective tablet with one the same, but you refused!

Then you changed your mind and agreed! Then you lied and told me it was out of stock when I was watching your website count down the numbers day by day! You then said you could not supply it as it was a “high demand” item! You then offered that I could choose another tablet.

You then AGREED to the tablet I chose. And now you decide to change your mind AGAIN!!!!!!!!!I don’t care if “Emily” made a mistake! I should not have to pay for “Emily’s” mistakes. She is one of YOUR staff, YOU should pay for her mistakes! This is just another example of you going out of your way to cheat your customers!

You are the worst business I have ever dealt with. I have not asked for anything excessive, I have just asked you to show some common decency considering you have stuffed me around for so long and denied my child her Christmas present for so long!Regards,Faye McKenzie

Faye Fxz

And so it continues. They asked me to choose another tablet to replace the defective item.

I chose 2 that I would be happy with. They AGREED to send out the tablet. The next day they realized that the tablet I had chosen and that they had agreed to was valued at $6.49 more than what I originally paid and are now telling me to chose a different tablet! Considering they have had the defective tablet in their possession since 6 March 2012 (over 2 1/2 months) and they have been stuffing around and delaying the whole process for over 5 months, I beleive the very least they can do is send me a tablet that is worth a whole 3% more than the original!

Now they are going to drag this out for even longer!! They are crooks and scammers!

And so it continues. It is now 2 1/2 months since they received the returned tablet and they have still not sent a replacement.

They have told me I will have to be patient as it is a "high demand" item! When they sent out the replacement of the other defective tablet, there were still 8 in stock.

Why couldn't they send it out then? They are liars and theives!

FMckenzie M

As usual Dino Direct are still trying to avoid their responsibilities. I received the following email from them:

Dear Faye McKenzie,

Thansk for your letter.

we should inform you that the item A300****GT was out of stock we can not send to you, hope you understand, would you please choose an item around $200? Thanks for your understanding.

Have a nice day.

I responded with the following email:

Don’t lie to me!! Your website says you have 15 in stock. I have attached a print screen showing your web page for your information!

Stop trying to SCAM ME!!! Replace the item A300****GT with either a A300****GT or a A300****BQ as agreed!! I will be contacting the BBB and the NSW Office of Fair Trading if this is not resolved.

Please stop your lies and deceit! You should be embarrassed at your behaviour!

Regards,

I wonder what dishonest trick they will try next to avoid replacing the defective tablet, which interestingly has dropped in price by $83 in the last 24 hours!!

Guest

The order number was 961579J6-DD

The item number was A300****GT

I would very much like the tablet replaced as it was defective and under warranty.

*** Customer Service and scammers

Ordered an EFUN 9.7" tablet in early March. Item arrived late with parts missing - 512Mb RAM missing, no Kobo eBook Apps, no 25 free ebooks, and no pouch. Also, screen went blank after less than 2 weeks of use... unable to reboot and had to do hard reset - definitely a quality issue. Contacted Customer Service on 8 Apr to lodge a request to supply missing parts. Four emails from me later and I received an email asking for Order number and list of missing parts - all of which were in my emails. Seems like they're playing for time until the 30 days refund period expires. DO NOT EVER buy from DINO Direct...

After numerous emails DinoDirect settled the matter by refunding USD 80 for the missing items. They were not prepared to pay for the labor cost to install the missing RAM though.

Not a completely satisfactory outcome but nevertheless a good gesture on their part. They should seriously invest in training to improve customer service.

I have been correspoding with DinoDirect re this matter (Order ref: 530341T9-DD) since 8 April. To be honest, I am still in the dark as to what action if any DinoDirect will take.

On 16 April DD's Account Manager - Louis - replied that I was wrong about the missing item without referring to (a) the PDF file containing the item specification at the point I placed the order, and (b) the item spec on 16 Apr, both of which support my claim for missing items.

In my reply to Louis, I relisted the missing items as well as attached the PDF file referred to above. I have not heard from Louis since.

In 7 days' time, the 30-day return period expires. The way DD has managed my complaint clearly shows they are playing for time until the 30-day period is up.

Their initial delaying tactic, followed by denial, and now continuing with delaying tactic again, is at complete odds of their claim of guaranteeing customer right and interest.

A Mixed Bag...

Well, I saw a lot of bad reviews of Dino Direct here & thought I was in for a bad time as well. I ordered 2 items back on Jan 21 & never got an e-mail confirmation of the purchase. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the order confirmation #, thinking I'd receive an e-mail. By mid-Feb I still hadn't received the items, decided to do an on-line chat. As many people have pointed out, their customer service is pretty lousy. The rep I chatted with told me m 1 item was shipped Feb 3 & I'd receive it soon, the other was still awaiting shipment. I waited a while longer & still nothing, by about the 23rd I did another online chat & was told my items were on the way, please be patient , etc., 2nd item was supposedly sent Feb 13. Well today, 02/27, I DID finally receive the 1st item & I have to say I'm fairly pleased with it, the quality is perhaps a bit better than expected, especially for the price. So I'll withhold full judgment till I receive the 2nd item - assuming I DO get it. My advice: Make sure you write down the item #, order conf #, etc, cause you may not receive any e-mail confirmation, and you will need that info if there are any problems. Also, DO sign up (register) as a user (customer) when asked to do so - otherwise, it's extremely difficult to get any issues resolved. One other thing - during the chats (I think I did 3 total) I was told the rep would e-mail me my conf # & details of the order. I requested this several times but never, ever rec'd a single e-mail from them (checked my Spam mail too - not there, either). So bottom line, as everyone says, their Customer Service is very poor, BUT, possibly if you're willing to wait long enough, you will eventually receive your items. My first of 2 was better than expected at the price, hopefully the 2nd is at least adequate. The Co. is in China so maybe that's the reason for the L-O-N-G wait. I guess one reason they can sell stuff so cheap is they spend next to nothing on services most of us are used to getting when ordering online.

Defective Product or Warranty

I purchased an IP surveillance camera from DinoDirect. The unit was defective. I submitted a claim with them : RMA ID: RF5599****-DD01. Then they simply stopped answering my emails. I opened a dispute with Paypal. DinoDirect responded as follows : ==================================== From Seller - DinoDirect.com 12/21/2011 21:03 PST We would like to inform you the notice of the return. Please return them via International priority mail and notice us with the shipping fee receipt and the tracking number. We will refund half of the returning shipping fee to you when received your shipping fee receipt. And please write 10 USD for the package value to avoid extra tax. You may contact us by sending email to cs-center@***.com. Here is the return address: CUIKAI RM B-1, FL 5, BLOCK 4, SEG SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Park HUAQIANG NORTH ROAD, FUTIAN DISTRICT SHENZHENGUANGDONG CHINA POST CODE: 518031 TEL:(86)1591****878 And since we have sent you the address, you don't need to get the return shipping ======================================= Since then : nothing ... and Paypal closed the dispute. I have not been reimbursed. Dino Direct has awful customer support. The don't follow up on their own RMA numbers .... and they don't honour their "money back" policy. Chris

Refrain from using DinoDirect!!

I have given DinoDirect benefit of the doubt in the past, and I wish I hadn't. I have bought women clothes from the site. and when I open the packaging the clothes appeared to be made for little people! After a gentle wash the stetching was coming undone. I was so disappointed I sent back outer wear for an exchange (which was costly), it was suppose to reach destination china in 5 business days via express. Apparently it was lost in the system and DinoDirect claimed it would take a month to reach China which was "many light years away" right? well, a couple months and a half gone by and still no new package, but I got word it is now out of stock! Lesson learned. Heave my word, Ye been warned!!

Dino Direct Piracy

We ordered two jackets from Dino Direct, the first one arrived and when it was tried on, the buttons popped off. They never sent the other one and when we challendged them, they repaid the price of the jacket, but kept the shipping cost! Of course, the shipping cost was more than the jacket!!!! I think you should stay far away from this company. I also think they are just pirates, selling cheap quality products and keeping as much money as they can. I think you would be better off sending your money to the Salvation Army! At least someone would benefit from the cash other than these folks whom I think should be banned.

RMA process denied

Purchase orange squeezer press from dinidirect. Product is in a very poor quality, nothing close to product description. Product description says "stainless steel", actual product is material nothing to do with stainless steel, but some material buried under some sort of coating. Body of the squeezer bends when tried to squeeze the fruit. It cannot squeeze oranges. Cap is too small, flesh of the fruit escapes from the press. Raised a case, no one responded. trying to raise RMA, but the lik goes to a blank web page saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". This simply cheating consumers. You can take people's money as long as you ship something in return of payment. Stay away from dinodirect. if you have excess money, donate it to charities.

Dino Direct sent wrong item but never admitted it

I bought online from Dino Direct a quad band dual SIM watch cell phone referenced S760. They sent me instead another reference, Q968T. Main reason why I wanted the S760 is it has dual SIMs. The watch I received has only one SIM card. So I told them they had sent the wrong item. They first denied. They then asked me to send pictures of the watch and of the envelope the watch had come in. What I did. They claimed they were unable to open my pictures (plain, regular jpeg files!). On their demand I had to send these pictures again twice! Is that an electronics Company or what? I asked them to take the watch back. They refused and offered me a $30.00 credit. I didn't answer. They then offered a $30.00 refund. I took it. But refund took forever to come. So I had to write a letter to both their Los Angeles (USA) and Coventry (UK) offices before I was granted this refund. People at Dino Direct are incompetent (both commercially and technically), they use bad faith and try to avoid the least compensation. So my advice is: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Stay away from Dino Direct Website!!

I ordered 2 coats, one for my brother and one for me. It took more then 30 days to receive both. Not only are the buttons sewn on crooked but the pocket on the coat for my brother is bigger than the other. I did what they call an RMA on my brothers coat and no one from Dino Direct contacted me at all. Then I go into my account and find that they erased the RMA....poof no RMA. I didn't write the RMA number down so theres no proof that I wanted to exchange it. Never will buy from them again!!!

Promised Free Shipping

The whole reason I joined Dino Direct was they advertised free international shipping. When I sign in, there is a huge banner at the top of the page boasting free shipping world wide. I ordered a replacement stylus for 39 cents. When I checked out they added $39 for shipping and stated handling would be added at the end of check-out, and could be up to $40 more. Seriously? I managed to get the order canceled and blocked them from taking any money off my card. After a lot of complaining, I was told that free shipping only applies to certain items which are marked and the shipping prices are listed on the bottom of each item's page(in tiny print.) I was told that if the banners all over their site that say free shipping don't also say on selected items, then it was because my flash player or browser just wasn't showing it. Yes, my computer is plotting to cost me money.

I ordered an item and paid for it to be shipped by DHL. I received an email advising it had been sent by EMS, After several emails to them, they still don't seem to comprehend what the problem is.

It is a Xmas present for a child who will be very disappointed when Santa does not show on Christmas morning.

Not even an offer of a refund of the DHL fee they charged me. I will NEVER use Dinodirect again.

Dino Direct is a Rip Off Scam

Updated by user Jan 10, 2012

Yes, I have read the reviews on the DD website. You\'re right, they have the same reviews for all the products that I looked at.

It\'s a joke. The reviews never mention a specific product. They are all generic comments and you\'ll see them posted for a bunch of different pointers. It\'s all ***, just like the quality of their products.

It\'s all Chinese junk and this company should not be allowed to do business in the USA. They are thieves who live a million miles away which is why they do it. If they were here, they would have been shut down long ago. DO NOT BUY FROM DINO DIRECT!

IF YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR, IT WILL FALL APART WITHIN DAYS. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET A REPLACEMENT OR YOUR MONEY BACK. THEIR WARRANTEE IS A BUNCH OF ***! THEY\'LL WANT YOU TO RETURN IT WHATEVER IT IS, BUT IT MUST HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER OR THEY WON\'T TAKE IT BACK!

TRACKING FOR ME WOULD HAVE BEEN $80 FOR A VERY SMALL PACKAGE!

THEY KNOW THIS AND THEY HAVE YOU BY THE BALLS IF YOU NEED TO RETURN SOMETHING! DON\'T BUY FROM THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS!

Original review May 05, 2011
I bought a $35 laser pointer from www.dinodirect.com. The pointer after 10 minutes of use. The switch was apparently defective. I contacted them for a replacement or refund. First they asked me to take it somewhere to have it repaired, then send them the bill!! Yeah, right! Then they said they'd send me a replacement. Then they said they'd have to have the broken one back, and I HAVE to send it by mail with a tracking number only. Well, the cheapest way to send it back with a tracking number cost's $85.00! I have to believe they knew this! Well, I sent it back anyway to the address they gave me without the tracking. Doesn't make sense to pay $85 to recover $35. A month later and they say they still don't have it. I say BS! They have it, and it looks like I'm out $35 because I don't have a tracking number to prove they have it. All the stuff they sell is cheap Chinese made junk. Avoid Dino Direct at all costs. If you buy from them, forget about any warranty's you think you may have!!!

Louis, you SAY you will TRY to do everything to help. Thats a ridiculous statement.

You do everything you can to make it impossible to get a refund! You guy\'s told me to return my broken laser pointer, but it MUST have a tracking number. To ship it back with a tracking # it would have cost me $85. Let me ask you, would you pay $85 to to recover $35???

I think not. Dino Direct is nothing but a scam internet company that supplies cheap Chinese junk to the world at low prices because you know thats it cheap junk. Then you ask for returns with tracking which you know people are not going to do. Thats how you rip people off.

Your warrantee\'s are a bunch of bull ***. You do not have any warrantee\'s, and you do everything you can to make it impossible for anyone to actually get a replacement or a refund. Stop stealing from American\'s and stop sending your cheap chinese *** to this country. China is the reason our country is in the red.

I bet you love that. Some day I pray we\'ll elect a president who will ban all imports from your sorry *** country. I\'m fed up with trying to get my money back or even a replacement that will cost you what, a dollar or less? Here\'s what people end up looking like trying to get a problem solved with dino direct :upset .

Thats a fact. Contact me direct at grbullets2 at aol dot com. Then I\'ll give you one chance to send me a replacement or a refund, and don\'t ask for the defective one back because you already have it. Let\'s see how bad you want to resolve this problem that I have with DD.

I\'ll be waiting to hear from you.....Don\'t worry, I won\'t be holding my breath! :upset

OK Mr. Dino, here's my original order # 626946DD.
